Report: Six oil producing states ready to meet with OPEC

MOSCOW, Feb 4 (PRIME) -- Six countries producing oil have expressed willingness to hold an extraordinary meeting including representatives of both OPEC and non-OPEC states, Iranian news agency Shana reported Thursday, citing Oil and Mining Minister of Venezuela Eulogio Del Pino.

"Iran has agreed to take part in the meeting and Russia has already announced its agreement," Del Pino said without elaborating.

After a visit to Iran, the Venezuelan minister headed to Doha, the news agency reported.
